Announcing a change of leadership at the US Philadelphia office

December 10, 2019

Research Partnership’s Philadelphia office is announcing a change of leadership from the start of 2020. President Harriet Kozak will be stepping down in order to take retirement at the end of 2019, and will be replaced by Sabera Hyderally, current Director of MedTech, North America, who will take over as the Head of the Philadelphia office from 2nd January 2020.

sabera-harrietHarriet Kozak has been successfully in post since December 2009, growing the company in Philadelphia from 4 employees to a team of 30 in 2019. During her tenure, the business has grown consistently, with revenues increasing on average by around 30% year on year. In this period, Research Partnership also opened other offices in New York and San Francisco, which are led by Director Liza Pliss and Director Tom Winter respectively.

Sabera Hyderally joined the company in March 2018 and has over 27 years’ experience in market research. Since that time, Sabera has built up the MedTech Division significantly, with current sales representing 18% of ad hoc group company revenue, a considerable achievement in a short space of time. Sabera Hyderally will continue her role as Head of MedTech and will also assume overall responsibility for managing and growing the US healthcare business, both domestic and international.

Sabera said of her appointment, “I am excited about the new role. We have a dynamic group of researchers in the Philadelphia office and I hope to inspire and be inspired as we continue to strengthen and grow in the years to come.”

Speaking about the change in management, Founding Director Mary Assimakopoulos said, “Harriet has made a significant contribution to the company for a decade and will be missed by colleagues. She is well respected, not only by her peers and staff, but also by the wider market research community. Harriet is a past President of PBIRG (now Intellus Worldwide) and in 2011 she was presented with the PBIRG President Award in recognition of her support. We are delighted that Sabera is going to be taking over leadership of our Philadelphia office. Sabera is also very well known in the industry and has worked extremely hard to grow a strong client base in MedTech during her time at Research Partnership. Her enthusiasm and dedication is recognised amongst employees who already regard her as a mentor and leader. I am certain she is the right person to take the company to the next level of growth in this next exciting period.”
