Sue Wild, President of the US team, is delighted to announce two new appointments. We welcome Carol Chang and Michelle Soto as Vice Presidents within our Custom Research Division.
Carol Chang joins Research Partnership with 20 years of life sciences research and consulting experience. She has worked with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies to address their insights needs, and is a trusted partner and advisor to her clients, with extensive experience leading global and domestic custom research throughout the product life cycle. Carol has led projects spanning from opportunity assessment, forecasting, message optimization, segmentation, patient chart audits, to performance tracking and competitive simulation workshops. She was most recently with ZS Associates, where she supported the customer insights business. Prior to ZS, she was with GfK Health (now Ipsos Healthcare) for 14 plus years. Carol holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing from New Jersey City University.
Michelle Soto has been consulting in healthcare market research for more than 20 years. With expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, she provides strategic insights for business objectives spanning the product life cycle. Clients include pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech companies, as well as hospital systems, insurers, and professional organizations. Market research has taken her around the world, with international studies being a key area of interest. Michelle is a trained moderator experienced in conducting qualitative research with a broad range of stakeholders, and by a variety of methodologies including ethnographies and online communities along with more traditional approaches. On the quantitative side, studies around new product development, segmentation and communications development have successfully informed client strategies and tactics. Michelle has an M.S. in Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Throughout any engagement, I strive to provide exceptional customer service, collaboration, and high-quality research and deliverables.”
Carol will be working with our key clients to help answer business questions throughout the product life cycle focusing on such things as blood disorders, cardiology, immunology, metabolic diseases, oncology (including solid tumors and hematologic cancers), and rare diseases. Michelle will be focusing on such things as obesity/cardiovascular/metabolic, autoimmune, respiratory, rare disease and medical device/technology.
