We were delighted to be exhibiting and presenting a paper at this year’s PBIRG Annual General Meeting in Naples, Florida. Directors Tom Winter and Claire Richardson took to the stage to present the paper 'I Just Want to Lead a Normal Life - Harnessing Mobile Research Methods to Improve Our Understanding of Compliance.' The paper looked at the limitations of existing research methods measuring compliance and investigated the use of mobile as a means of delivering better insights.

On 20-23 May 2012, The Research Partnership attended and exhibited at the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence and Research Group (PBIRG) Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The conference was well attended with over 350 delegates participating in the three day event. The Windy City was made even busier as the 2012 NATO Summit was also being held in Chicago and so several thousand dignitaries descended on our nearby surroundings to discuss political issues alongside pharmaceutical market research.The conference speeches were well received and the two keynote speakers were popular with their continuing theme of how to ensure success. Mike Ditka's speech focused on the human element of being successful and the importance of ACE: Attitude, Character and Enthusiasm; as key elements of success. Influential political consultant and Fox News commentator Frank Luntz, offered insights into the power of language in healthcare, and made the point that patients most want 'personalised care' – we need to avoid using terms such as 'managed care' and 'consumers'.Our representative Katrina Johnson took to the stage to co-present a paper entitled "How an Understanding of the Patient's Emotional Journey Revealed an Untapped Patient Segment". Invited to give training on China at PBIRG Workshops
Marc Yates, Director of Emerging Markets, has been invited to host a training session at the PBIRG Winter Workshops and Industry Networking Reception in Bridgewater, NJ on 27th February 2012.
Marc's session, entitled "Predicting Behaviour in Urban China" seeks to demystify the complexities of the Chinese healthcare market and show how to conduct effective market research there.
