Case study: How we used a 360-degree investigation to understand uncontrolled hypertension

The challenge

Our client wanted to go beyond the typical pre-launch approach and get a deeper understanding of the challenges, barriers, motivators and potential touch points, for both HCPs and patients, of uncontrolled hypertension.

The challenge

Our client wanted to go beyond the typical pre-launch approach and get a deeper understanding of the challenges, barriers, motivators and potential touch points, for both HCPs and patients, of uncontrolled hypertension.

The solution
Four phases of research were conducted across 7 markets in Asia, comprising a qual phase incorporating rich insights from videos and journals and a further quantitative phase for market sizing.

The outputs
The results from this study together with the client’s own observational study of a cross-section of patients, were shared with their advisory board and used to launch the brand. This approach generated a lot of interest from KOLs as they could see the actual number of patients not reaching goal and also why they were not compliant.
