The challenge
Our client needed to develop a science story in order to increase uptake for their child nutritional supplement. Research was required in order to define the patient target, frame the challenge of growth delays to be an effective call to action, articulate objectives for the product and the best way to express its value proposition.

The challenge
Our client needed to develop a science story in order to increase uptake for their child nutritional supplement. Research was required in order to define the patient target, frame the challenge of growth delays to be an effective call to action, articulate objectives for the product and the best way to express its value proposition.

The solution
We conducted a mix of “workshop-style” focus groups and in-depth interviews with Paediatricians and GPs in Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Each Paediatrician had to see between 50 and 150 patients per month aged 1-7 years and recommend child nutritional supplements.

The outcome
We presented our client with a detailed report containing information on what resonated/did not resonate in the original science story themes, what changes should be made to science story stimulus for research, the different mind-sets between Paediatricians and GPs regarding the challenge of growth delays, any worries of long term health problems or psycho-social pressures and opinions on any disruption to long term developmental goals. Our research helped our client adjust and develop a new science story which increased update of their product.
