Research Partnership has published a new Living with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) US market report for 2017
Living with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a study conducted amongst 110 adult UC patients in the US. The study employs a mixed quantitative/qualitative methodology and is available to purchase alongside our Living with Ulcerative Colitis 2016 5EU report.
The report is intended to help pharmaceutical companies developing products in this disease area to gain a deeper understanding of how patients come to be diagnosed with UC and how it impacts their day-to-day lives physically, emotionally and socially. It also explores patient attitudes and perceptions towards treatment and the healthcare professionals managing their condition. The report will also identify the types of support patients seek at key stages of their UC journey.
The incidence of UC globally is increasing and in the US alone it affects approximately one million people. Head of Living with, Mariel Metcalfe commented, “We have already conducted this study in the EU, and due to demand from our clients, we have expanded this report to cover the US as well. This report provides comprehensive, quantitative insights into patient behaviours as well as qualitative depth into patient feelings at key stages of their journey.”
Living with UC is just one in a series of reports offering comprehensive insight into the chronic disease patient journey from pre-diagnosis to stabilisation. Living with NASH (US) was recently published in August 2017 and Living with UC (EU), Lupus (SLE) (EU & US), Crohn’s (EU & US), Rheumatoid Arthritis (EU & US) and PsA (EU) reports have recently been published and are available to purchase.
