Christmas might seem like an age away for many of us, but for the children of our nominated charity Forever Angels it lives on, as they enjoy playing with the toys they received from our collection last year.
In December our staff were busy filling boxes with a range of gifts from sweets, puzzles and cuddly toys to necessities such as nappies, bottles, booties and hats, which were then wrapped and despatched to Santa so they could arrive in time for Christmas morning.
We were delighted to receive an email from Amy, founder of Forever Angels, thanking us for the contributions and continued support:
“I just want to say thank you so much for all the wonderful presents that arrived in the 8 boxes today. It was like opening 8 amazing, magical Aladdin's Caves. The children all had a wonderful Christmas and were thrilled with their new toys”.
In 2012 we aim to continue with, and extend our support of Forever Angels, as our Founding Directors Mary Assimakopoulos and Mark Jeffery embark on a trip to Tanzania where they will be visiting the baby home, and documenting their experience. Watch this space for more news to come!
