Therapy KnowlEdge has changed its name to RP Therapy Watch!

The Research Partnership has changed the name of its innovative online market tracking tool from Therapy KnowlEdge to RP Therapy Watch.  RP Therapy Watch also has a new identity which is more closely aligned to the Research Partnership’s brand.

The company is making this name change to communicate the future direction of its online market research service. Where the company used to share the product’s brand name with Edge Consulting, RP Therapy Watch will now be the primary provider of global online patient audit data. Edge Consulting will continue to use the name Therapy KnowlEdge to describe their local Italian market data services.

RP Therapy Watch operates across a range of therapy areas spanning key international territories. Subscribers receive real-time data on market shares, switch patterns, drivers for treatment choice, treatment patterns and patient demographics collected from a large panel of healthcare professionals who submit multiple patient records on a frequent basis. Therapy areas include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Chronic Kidney Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disorders, Hepatitis C and HIV, amongst others.

The client service team is also expanding and now has a staff of 15 comprising a Director, 2 Associate Directors, a Research Manager, a Fieldwork Executive, 3 panel managers and 7 research executives. Director Katrina Johnson, who has been managing sales and marketing for the online tool for over five years, said “This is an exciting period for
RP Therapy Watch. We have ambitious plans to grow and expand the online service into many new territories and therapy areas in 2012 and our new name and identity gives us the freedom to develop the product according to our clients’ needs.”

RP Therapy Watch accounts for around 10% of The Research Partnership’s annual revenue.
