Throughout the month of July staff at our London office came together to collaborate on a project on behalf of our nominated charity Forever Angels, which works to promote and raise awareness of abandoned and orphaned babies in Africa.
Every year the UK branch of the charity aims to send a container full of gifts, treats and basic essentials to the baby home in Tanzania, and of course contributions are always welcome. Our social committee took the lead to ensure The Research Partnership was able to lend ample support to this year's shipment, and over the course of several weeks employees were tasked with filling a large hamper and several Christmas shoe boxes with a variety of much needed items.
Everyone was extremely generous and donations ranged from teddy bears and jigsaw puzzles to clothes and crafts, as well some rather less playful but equally important items such as scissors, nappies and milk bottles! A group of our researchers took time out of their busy work schedules to carefully wrap and package the gifts for delivery to the Forever Angels team; who were very appreciative of our efforts as was evident from the warm note they sent us:
"Wow, thank you all so much for the amazing boxes of goods that arrived today. Everyone has been so kind and thoughtful and obviously taken so much time and effort to send exactly what is needed. Please thank everyone on our behalf."
The Research Partnership is proud to support Forever Angels and wishes them continued success with their important work.
