PBIRG Conference 2010

The Research Partnership had a strong presence at the 2010 PBIRG conference which was held on May 16-19 at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Florida. Our representatives in attendance were Mary Assimakopoulos (Founding Director), Harriet Kozak (US President) and Andrew Stokes (Director), all of whom were on hand at the agency fair to provide delegates with an overview of our capabilities.

Visitors to our booth were also invited to participate in a fun-filled crane grabbing competition to win a range of exciting prizes. Congratulations to Nancy Mancini of Merck & Co who was the recipient of the top prize – a Kodak Pulse interactive photo frame!

This year we also sponsored the Monday night after-dinner entertainment which took the form of an interactive games session on the beach! It was a welcome opportunity to lend our support to PBIRG, but it was also great to see our branding very much in evidence as people revelled in high-energy activities such as bocce ball, beach golf and beach volleyball! 

Lastly, we always welcome the opportunity to share our expertise and learning with colleagues, so Andrew Stokes and Harriet Kozak presented a paper as part of the "university sessions" programme entitled “Meeting changing demands”.   This insightful presentation used a recent in-depth case study to illustrate how free choice profiling can be used to provide quantitative style output from qualitative research, thus enabling richer insights to be obtained.
