The case of the disappearing teaspoons...

Longitudinal cohort study of the displacement of teaspoons

Therapy Knowledge Image Expansion and appointments

In response to client demand for the service, we have recently made several new appointments and expanded our portfolio of services for Therapy KnowlEdge, our innovative online patient-data tracking study.

We welcome Tim Robinson, who has joined as Director and Diarra Peereboom, who has joined as Fieldwork Executive, to the Therapy KnowlEdge team. Mei Chen Lee will shortly be joining Katrina Johnson in our Toronto office, to help with client services and North American panel recruitment.

Maximising your appeal
TURF analysis explained

Despite what it sounds like, TURF analysis has nothing to do with horseracing. Rather, it's a quantitative technique which looks at a range of features in a sequential order to try and find the combination that will have maximum appeal to the widest audience.  Daisy Spread and Anthony Greenwood recently applied the technique to a global message testing study to discover which messages would have greatest impact. The results were enlightening.

Eye tracker
Eye tracker exampleThe science of observation

The current edition of the PBIRG newsletter contains a feature on the value of eye tracker technology as an aid to conducting communications research.

Andrew Stokes, Director at The Research Partnership, spoke to A. Client of ABC Pharmaceuticals about the history of eye tracking, the way the technology has developed and its current uses. Andrew investigates the benefits and limitations of the tool and considers its future as a method of effectively evaluating marketing communications materials.

Emerging markets feature
Compliance Survey ImageMarket research as an agent of change

But sailing these unchartered waters can be a risky business. In this feature, Marc Yates, Managing Director of Research Partnership Asia, discusses how robust market research can become more than just a commercial tool, and actually acts as an agent for changing attitudes and beliefs held in emerging markets.
