Business Development Executive

Your experience:

2-3 years experience of telemarketing/database or telesales environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry. The role encompasses both a commercial and scientific element and would suit an ambitious professional looking to excel and develop their career in pharmaceutical market research. We require somebody who is personable and proactive, with excellent communication skills, good written and spoken English, who is able to engage well with global senior pharmaceutical executives over the telephone and on email and is proficient with database systems or willing to learn. Additional languages would be an advantage, and a knowledge or understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market research services would be very useful. Experience of using CRM or other database system and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed.

Your primary role:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for building a pipeline of new business opportunities for our senior staff and following up on an annual programme of marketing campaigns in order to support a lead acquisition programme.

As well as being responsible for lead generation on campaigns and appointment setting, this person will also be responsible for entering and maintaining contact information in our CRM, correcting/cleaning data as required and using social media and online tools such as LinkedIn to find and verify new contacts.

Key tasks

- Conduct internet research to find new leads and verify contact details using sites such as Google, Linked In etc.
- Prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying potential customers.
- Setting up face to face meetings and teleconference meetings with potential customers for business development purposes or as a follow up to marketing campaigns.
- Creating and tailoring credentials presentations to fit prospective client’s requests and interests. 
- Maintain constant familiarization of product offerings and developments. Research and maintain current information regarding: market updates and conditions, top customers and their requirements, specific solutions offered to customers.
- Maintain and manage the company CRM database, checking and cleaning contact records, updating notes and actions, entering new data as required.
- Support the marketing team to carry out marketing campaigns by segmenting and selecting lists, updating the CRM with leads, notes and actions

Data Processing Executive

Your experience:

3 to 5 years experience in a similar role. Experienced with SPSS or Merlin or QPS. Possess strong Excel skills and experience of VBA macro writing would be a plus. Previous Confirmit experience and well as html, css and jscript experience would be welcome. Be able to multi-task, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under tight time constraints, be flexible and able to prioritize and re-prioritise tasks and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Your primary role:

Your responsibilities will be to proactively manage analysis requirements with support from more senior staff and to be confident in inputting raw data into SPSS and running cross-tabs in order to create client reports. You will conduct training for tabulations with Research Analysts and liaise with internal clients to advise on best practices. You will be confident with cross-tabs and possibly advanced analytics in SPSS, have an understanding of data cleaning, creating tables in SPSS and guiding Research Analysts.

Director / Associate Director for Therapy Watch

Your experience:

At least 6 years experience in market research with significant healthcare experience. Ability to market Therapy Watch (TW) products, generate sales, build own client base and manage a team and projects.

Your primary role:


Your responsibilities are to partner with the existing Director to lead, manage and plan for the Therapy Watch department and to ensure the growth, development and management of the Therapy Watch US and ROW (excluding EU) portfolio. You will build business to achieve sales targets by developing good relationships with clients. You will manage projects and project teams. You will write and deliver presentations. Team leader responsibilities will involve conducting appraisals, pay reviews, monitoring of performance, personal development and training of staff.

Associate Director


Your experience:

5 to 6 years experience in market research with significant healthcare experience.  Ability to generate sales and build own client base.

Your primary role:

Your responsibilities will be to build business individually and in conjunction with key Directors and to achieve sales targets by generating rfps and developing good relationships with clients.  You will manage projects and project teams as well as a research team.  You will write proposals, calculating the research cost with agreement from Director as well as writing and giving client presentations.  Team leader responsibilities will involve conducting appraisals, pay reviews, monitoring of performance, personal development and training of staff.

Research Manager

Your experience:

3 to 4 years experience in market research with healthcare experience.  Appreciation of marketing / client side issues.  Self-motivated and able to work independently.  Good communication skills.  Ability to multi task under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Your primary role:

Your responsibilities will include managing 2 to 3 projects at a time, plus the associated project teams to meet objectives, whilst providing the main point of contact with the client.  You will write proposals, help design and implement the project that you will then run on a daily basis.  You will update your Director and prepare and present the majority of client presentations.  You will seek to develop your own client base by building relationships with your clients. You will support senior management in recruitment, training and management of junior staff, as well as developing and implementing internal company procedures.

Fieldwork Manager

Your experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience in managing multi-market qualitative research projects. Self-motivated and able to work independently.  Excellent communication and outstanding organisation skills.  Ability to multi-task under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Your primary role:

Your role will be to ensure that research projects run smoothly and to the highest standards. You will be a vital member of the research team, ensuring project milestones are being met and that projects are planned carefully to ensure their success. You will also be involved in quoting for proposals, advising and consulting with the research team, planning logistics, supervising the recruitment of research participants and managing supplier and research team queries. You will also be responsible for managing a small team of junior members with support from the Field Director.

Senior Research Executive

Your experience:

Graduate with more than two years experience in market research (ideally healthcare but could be consumer).  Strong project management skills.  Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.  Attention to detail.

Your primary role:

Your role will be to oversee the smooth running of fieldwork, analysis and data processing. With input from your manager you will be writing guides and questionnaires as well as being involved in proposal writing.  You will conduct depth interviews with key respondents and manage central locations with clients present.  You will analyse the findings, helping to write the presentation with input from your manager.  Your job also involves ongoing monitoring of job costs to meet budgets as well as managing junior members of your project team.

Research Executive

Your experience:

Graduate with 1 to 2 years market research or fieldwork experience (ideally healthcare but could be consumer). Commitment to client service and “getting the job done”. Strong verbal and written communication. Attention to detail. Ability to multi task.

Your primary role:

As a part of a project team, you will be responsible for the running of at least 2 projects concurrently on a daily basis.  This will involve briefing of, liaison and negotiation with subcontractors (fieldwork agencies, freelance transcribers, analysers and interviewers); you will conduct face to face and telephone interviews with key respondents; manage central locations; conduct on the spot analysis as well as other qualitative and quantitative analysis (editing, coding and table checking).  You will help prepare sections of the final client presentation. You will provide feedback to your Research Manager as well as regular updates to the client.
