We are currently seeking the following for the Philadelphia office:

 

Associate Director (Project and Client Management)

The Research Partnership, Inc. is looking for an intelligent, dynamic, and experienced Associate Director to work in their US office in Horsham, PA.  As an Associate Director your responsibilities will include managing 2 to 3 projects at a time, plus the associated project teams to meet objectives, whilst providing the main point of contact with the client.  You will write proposals, help design and implement the project that you will then run on a daily basis.  You will update your Director and prepare and present the majority of client presentations.  You will seek to develop your own client base by building relationships with your clients. You will support senior management in recruitment, training and management of junior staff, as well as developing and implementing internal company procedures.

 

The Associate Director will report to the Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for research design, management, and reporting
  • Ensure all projects meet highest quality standards and follow RP procedures
  • Ensure repeat business from existing clients and support Director in business development efforts. Write proposals independently or with minimum supervision
  • Lead client and other project related meetings. Ensure completion of all internal documentation required for project tracking and accounting purposes
  • Conduct qualitative one-on-one depth interviews and focus groups, develop analytical plan and story flow for quantitative projects
  • Write final client ready reports including insightful analysis, key findings, and compelling conclusions and recommendations
  • Make final project presentations
  • Maintain effective relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and other RP subsidiaries
  • Mentor and Supervise project staff, conduct performance reviews, etc. 
     

Position Requirements

 

Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelors or Graduate degree. Masters degree preferred 
  • 5 to 8 years experience in market research with a minimum of 3 years in pharmaceuticals/biotechnology. Candidates with global experience will be preferred
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical business and appreciation of marketing / client side issues  
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.  Good communication skills.  Ability to multi task under pressure and to tight deadlines 
  • Attention to detail a must
